Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,Ĩ. Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.ħ. So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:Ħ. Connecting this verse with the previous one, Allah says that they should worship Him Alone because He is the One Who guards them against hunger and keeps them safe from fear. So let them worship the Lord of this House,Īfter describing His Favours in first two verses of the Surah, Allah directs the Quraysh to worship Him, as He is the “Lord of the House” - Ka’bah.Ĥ. Thus, in this verse, Allah is reassuring their security.ģ. They were thus exposed to the dangers of hunger and robbery on the way. Their protection during their trading caravans in the winter and the summerįor trade purposes, the Quraysh took caravans of merchandise to the warmer climate of Yemen in the winter and to the cooler climate of the Syrian summer, upon which the prosperity of Mecca depended.
