Gran Paradiso in winter is like being in another world Snowshoeing in Gran Paradiso gives you wonderful feeling and this valley is full of chamois, especially in winter. In less than 2 hours, also depending on the quantity of snow in the ground, we will reach the hut and the day after we have an entire valley to explore according to our energy left. The hike to the hut is quite easy and fit for everyone. In winter you need to deal with cold and humidity, but the landscapes are even more spectacular and amazing. The feeling of a winter hike in Gran Paradiso compared with a summer trek are quite different. We will enjoy a quite warm environment and prepare some good Italian food and eventually drink some good wine. In winter its beauty is even more incredible and living a Snowshoeing in Gran Paradiso National Park is a truly amazing experience! We’ll sleep in the nice Noaschetta hut, a very nice unguarded hut with electricity and wood stove. And Trekking Alps propose a magnificent winter hike in this wonderful National Park in the western Alps.
